Rufus and Delilah Dog Walking and Pet Sitting

My dog, Beluga, has been a client of [Rufus and Delilah] since 2004. I say my dog, because they truly cater to his every need while making me feel comfortable knowing how well cared for he is. Beluga gets to have daily walks while I am at work, allowing me to feel better about leaving him at home. He always gets one of his favorite walkers to come take him for a walk, give him a little snack and make sure his water is replenished. They go above and beyond by taking in my mail, opening and closing windows as needed, turning the lights on and off, and most importantly giving Beluga lots of love and affection. Beluga also gets to have someone spend the night when I travel for work and fun.

Personally, this service has made my life so much easier. The hardest part of traveling is worrying about how your beloved pet is being treated. Knowing that Beluga gets to stay in his own environment and on his regular schedule makes it so much easier. Beluga even gets to sleep on the bed with his overnight sitters – which makes him so happy. [Rufus and Delilah] also does a great job keeping me updated on how he is doing while I am away so I never have to worry about my little guy. I, honestly, do not know what I would do where it not for them. They are truly the best pet sitting service around!

Pets are like family... and because of that, I could never leave my dog in the hands of someone I didn't think was fully competent, loving, trustworthy, and an all-around animal fanatic (like myself). I am very wary of most pet walking businesses (many that aren't bonded and insured...and many who hire people just looking for a quick buck that could care less about animals). So, when I stumbled across the countless positive reviews of [Rufus and Delilah] on the internet, I decided to see if they lived up to the praise. They didn't. They actually EXCEEDED any praise they received. They are professionals through and through... they are great communicators...and they are animal lovers. I never worry that Norman (my pup) isn't in the best of care under my walker Brigitte... and I always know that when I get home from work he'll be both tired and thrilled for having gotten extra loving care on the days she visits :)

I cannot recommend [Rufus and Delilah] more highly. You will be happy... and your PET will be happy. Do yourself a favor, give them a call.

It’s been a couple of years now that I have been using [Rufus and Delilah]. I inherited a 91 pound rescue lab/shepherd mix of about 5 – 6 years old. A gentle giant who loves to walk and play. Jennifer, the soul proprietor at the time, who happened to be only a few pounds in weight larger than my dog, would happily take GD on walks. Never an incident and always a happy dog! Her successful business has grown and since GD has found another responsible and fun friend at [Rufus and Delilah], Steve, who will walk him when I have the need. Steve is just great and also has never disappointed me or GD. I return home to a satisfied canine and a note telling me everything I would ask had I been there. Jennifer and Steve are trustworthy, reliable and I’m very happy with [Rufus and Delilah].

Having just moved to this city (and sadly having few friends to call upon for cat-sitting) I decided to give [Rufus and Delilah] a try. I was super impressed by the speed and professionalism of Jennifer and her assistant Donna in setting me up with a new cat-sitter, Jen. They came over to my apartment to discuss all the details for when I'm away: feeding, playing, cat litter, bringing in the mail, etc. I can tell that my two cats are spoiled with attention and love while I'm away. Jen is so sweet and it is very clear that she TRULY loves animals.

[Rufus and Delilah] is simply the best in the business. The staff is professional, friendly and most importantly, they are true animal lovers. Our dogs love their afternoon walks with Isabelle – she treats them like her own and my husband and I feel great knowing they’re getting extra love, attention and exercise while we’re at work. We look forward to reading their daily “report card” to see what adventures they’ve been up to and also know it will include any important updates or observations about their health and well-being. I am not able to express fully how grateful I am to [Rufus and Delilah] and the pet sitting services (Hi Charli) they provide. For four months I did not leave my dog’s side after she had brain surgery. I was convinced no one could or would be able to care for her and her special needs. I was wrong. Jennifer patiently listened to me as I explained my dog’s (Jolie) physical limitations and medical requirements. This information is kept in their system and is then shared with the person that will be staying with Jolie. Charli has been that special person 3 times for Jolie. Every stay has gone without a hitch. Thank you for taking such good care of Jolie and for allowing me some getaway time that I didn’t think was possible.
