Rufus and Delilah is featuring Buster as the Los Angeles Dog Adoption of the week. If you or anyone you know is looking to rescue a dog, we hope your search will end with Buster. Buster is a Beagle about 12 years old whose human got too old to take care of him. He is an active senior who loves his walks and he loves being with people. Buster is great with other dogs, cats, and children. He is up to date on all his shots and he takes a daily pill for a heart murmur. All he wants is a loving and dedicated FuRRRRever home to call his own.
Please don’t let Buster’s heart murmur or age stop you from giving this sweet loving little guy a home to spend the rest of his life. Heart murmurs are common in dogs. Even my own French Bulldog who will be 8 in October has a slight heart murmur. If you don’t have experience with heart murmurs in dogs, read Dr. Nancy Kay’s article on Heart Murmurs in Dogs: What Do They Mean. Then if you need convincing on why senior dogs make great pets, read 5 reasons to adopt a senior dog in an article we wrote last November, Give Senior Dogs A Reason To Be Thankful This Thanksgiving.
Thanks to The Brittany Foundation, dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of homeless dogs, Buster isn’t in a shelter. He is currently lovingly being cared for at their sanctuary.

Do you have a spot in your home and heart for Buster? Or do you have an older parent who could use the love and companionship from Buster? Even if you are not looking to adopt or if Buster isn’t the right dog for you, you can still help Buster find his FuRRRRever home by sharing this article.
