Rufus and Delilah is featuring Timmy as the Los Angeles dog adoption of the week. Timmy is a cute little Terrier mix who is 6 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. He is very lively, but mostly wants to be with his human and to keep them company. He loves to go for walks and to run around playing in the backyard. He likes other dogs his size and he is good with cats.
Timmy was originally found by a rescue group in Orange County as a stray with a bad case of demodex with another dog assumed to be his mom. The demodex was treated and never came back. When that rescue had to shut down, The Brittany Foundation, which is dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of homeless dogs, swooped in and took Timmy to their sanctuary. He is now lovingly being cared for while waiting for his FuRRRRever home in the Los Angeles area.
Timmy is house trained, neutered, and up to date on all shots. He is kind of shy and he is a sensitive guy who really wants a new best friend.
At 6 years young, Timmy still has a lot years to share with a new friend or family given the average lifespan of a Terrier is about 12-15 years.
