Happy Birthday to Beatrice who turned four last Thursday, 4/10. I like to make a big fuss over my dogs birthday’s. It is a fun excuse to shower Beatrice and Florence with even more love and attention than I do on a daily basis. Let’s be real, I don’t need the excuse to be more over the top than usual but hey, why not?
Things I like to do to spoil Beatrice and Florence on their birthday.
- I like to dress them up at least in a party hat.
- Dress up Beatrice in new clothes because she loves to wear them.
- I used to give special food treats until we learned both Beatrice and Florence have IBD. Their stomachs won’t tolerate any food other than what they are used to.
- I also like to give Beatrice and Florence new toys. This year we gave her these cute plush toys from one of her favorite doggy boutiques, Maxwell Dog in Studio City.
Taking this one step further, Kriser’s Pet Store in Studio City even hosts a monthly birthday party to celebrate their customers pets birthdays for that month. The festivities include free treats and a goodie bag and a coupon valid on the day of the birthday party for 10% off all pet food and pet supplies.
